About Me

NovelTeens Ink: Washington, DC, United States; NovelTeens’ Ink. is an after-school and summer journalism camp intended to expose youth of the Greater Washington Metropolitan area to the many facets of journalism. Students are provided with the opportunity to work in editorial, audio broadcast, video broadcast, advertising/sales or creative design and layout based on their individual interest and abilities. Under these disciplines students receive mentoring and hands-on experience in the techniques of: research, interviewing, and story development for print, online video and online radio production, photography and layout design, as well as advertising sales. The program is launching it’s broadcast journalism components, to include video and audio-casts, as well as launch a teen produced Hip Hop Magazine in the summer of 2008.
